The numbers
Citizen science accomplishes much goodness for our world, including sound data added to the story of local water health. The Driftless region in southeast Minnesota includes 8 stream sites under the auspices of the UMRI work – we will be uploading summer sampling numbers prior to fall monitoring – pictures will be here in early October.
Then, if the idea of monitoring streamside is enticing, please contact Caroline van Schaik to inquire about joining a team this fall. We typically head out in October-November and if a site and date work, you will be welcome.
